For about 20 years the next question was always: "it's random, isn't it?". Everytime I had to explain that yes, there is a random generator in this work, but this remark is like saying "there's alcohol, no?" when you taste wine or "it has a motor, hasn't it?" when you try out a new car.

Les structures de phrase plus haut se laissent aussi analyser comme ça.

Toutes ces astuces, on n'est pas obligé de s'y tenir, mais si ce qu'on a compose s'analyse avec ses concepts-là après-coup, l'auditeur comprend tout de suite la musique et le morceau marche bien.

Essaie, tu verras bien.

Sinon une idée qui marche bien c'est la structure "annonce - développement - conclu", à presque toutes les échelles. Dans le morceau de Jarre ci-dessus l'annonce c'est la première note du motif : elle est longue et appuyée pour dire coucou ; ensuite vient un dévlo en 3 notes, et 1 note de conclu.

Avec des motifs de peu de notes et beaucoup de répétitions, on obtient de la pop. Si en plus les notes sont longues, répétées, et proches, ça devient un hymne de foot ou un slogan de manif. Avec des motifs à beaucoup de notes et plus de variations que de répèts on obtient des trucs plus intellos.
