The Prado, national art gallery of Spain, founded in 1819, only hosted its first solo exhibition of a female artist's work in 2016, 17thc painter Clara Peeters (her work below), not untypical of many major galleries across the world....

The 'liber divinorum operum' of St Hildegard of Bingen, c1500, in the recent 'Medieval Women' exhibition at the British Library. Hildegard was a C12 abbess, mystic and composer whose work has become remarkably popular in recent years. She was canonised in 2012, and today is her feast.

I hate to say it, but has dementia been ruled out? It would be so easy to administer ADHD and Autism tests at the same time all in the one package.
Sending lots of prayers for energy and patience in any case x
Good. Hope that the GP does what is needed to get the ball rolling π
If the friend is a church-goer, like you, the minister may have advice.
+ who have done this. It is not without stress and it does rely on the GP being decent. But itβs the first port of call for help and advice if someone you love is βnot themselvesβ any more.
I hope you are OK. X
+ of dementia, the first route is via the family doctor. You can, for example, tell your own GP that you are experiencing stress due to a previously harmonious member of the household behaving uncharacteristically unreasonably. The GP can then explore a range of options.
I know people +
βLeaving impossibleβ is a real worry.
The other stuff is the same challenge faced by families of people in early stages of dementia. (Thereβs sometimes an overlap of symptoms too).
I am not an expert but I did do a GCSE level dementia care course and it said if family suspects someone +
+ OR make whatever the βreasonable adjustmentβ would be were a diagnosis in place.
I canβt really see what families can do other than that.
I suppose put up and shut up is the third option. And leave the fourth. But those are always the options of last resort in any situation π€·π»ββοΈ
I tend to think if someone has found a way to live their life without being disadvantaged then they wonβt see a need for diagnosis. Surely families have 2 choices: assume they are unreasonable and treat them as such, which will presumably lead to a disadvantage which may lead to seeking diagnosis +
