If I remember well Sibiryakov was hanging around the area at the time of the event. But then apparently was the "chartered sailboat"

All agreed and followed, but at the same time the other side - and mainstream media - make a relatively compelling analysis - backed up by names and claims sounding like a revamp of Rainbow Warrior ... I honestly am unsure, one more for my osint "to do when I'm old"

I kept a fairly remote watch of the NS2 blast at the time, but I do enjoy the diverging findings and "evidence" (if such thing still exists these days) ... Both sides have quite compelling - possibly manufactured - arguments, be interesting, if that's even possible, to join forces and investigate !

Russian Navy Baltic Fleet OIS “Admiral Vladimirskiy” VISID transited the Dover Strait northbound, late AM 8 August 2025. Unit returning to Khronstadt.

⚠️Unit departed the Caribbean Sea, 26 July following 16-wks SURVOPS tasking.

Unidentified Russian Navy ship, UCAC2, sent weather report on 4395.5 kHz CW at 1504 UTC to Russian Navy Northern Fleet Naval Base in Severodvinsk, RJD99.

Message not copied, ship was very faint.

RJD99 answered on 6284.5 kHz.

The Swedish Saab RB-08 was a really interesting anti-ship missile, it was actually the first Western shipborne anti-ship missile to enter service

Its the Citroen 2CV Spy Sub. So deadly it was only produced to a very few numbers. The story doesn't say if it was deadly for the adversary or its crew 😂

PS. I don't think I can be accused of being a pro Russian stooge but this specific case is I think a bit wrong. There isn't any sanction evasion because they make no money, they don't fly the Russian flag. She's just unlucky enough to have been built in Russia...

I feel going after a historical vessel boarding young crew members from all over the world isn't what authorities should focus upon. But easier target than oil tankers or oligarchs

She changed flag. She only has a few crew members who're Russian and who've never sided with the Kremlin. At some stage, idiots in La Rochelle wanted to keep her and her crew out whilst gale was building. She is Russian by birth, but I think its also the case for oligarchs happily living in the EU.

[1/4] RF Navy Pacific Fleet Kilo-class diesel-electric submarine Magadan, Udaloy I-class destroyer Admiral Panteleyev, Steregushchiy II-class corvette Sovershennyy, and Ropucha I-class landing ship Oslyabya departed Vladivostok on 1 August for a 'Power in Truth' patriotic outreach campaign.

Standing #NATO Maritime Group Two recently monitored #Russian naval activity in the Mediterranean Sea. The images include the MB-119 tug Jakob Grebelsky, the Kilo-class sub Novorossiysk, and the RFS Victor Leonov CCB-175.
