TBH, several years out of date...but this is how I saw this "rivalry"

For me, if it were one of the larger San Juan Islands (or something similar), I could probably be tricked for years, possibly decades. Just big enough that I feel a freedom to explore, but still self-contained.

If you were to be put into a "Truman Show" situation, how big would the town/area have to be for you to be reasonably tricked? Would the town need to have any special oddities? Like, in a desert, on an island, or something else...?

I don't like the fact that 1 isn't a prime number.
