Sending out leaves

After eventually sobering up Hogan, Dylan managed to get him to understand what was happening and persuade him to start training the idiots, or allies as he had been told to call them.

This wasn’t luxury, #deluxe training. This was painful, exhausting training and Hogan wouldn’t let up.

we ran laughing
into the autumnal wind
our tawny raincoats spinning
amid apricot swirling leaves
with just the synergy
of our heartbeats
echoing the amber skies
& my only wish
for this weightless freedom

Memories of summer
Wade through my mind

As I breathe in the cold sights
Of hoarfrost & tiny frosty stalactites

Covering the green shubbery
