I learned two things on vacation.

1. Waymo self driving cars are way more relaxing than humans and don’t tend to smell like cigarettes.

2. Microsoft copilot is coded to encourage hyperfocus and mine has become a tutorial dungeon master for D&D.

Apparently I’m fine with Skynet if it’s nerdy.

Finally starting to see silver hairs and it only took two Trump administrations to make it happen.

Deleting Facebook has taught me that most of my social media activity was doomscrolling. I don’t miss it.

Look, I’m not a fashion expert. I’m not even fashion competent. But I wish white ladies would stop wearing peach, pale pink, and pale yellow. It takes an otherwise pretty dress and totally washes out the wearer. Also I’m tired of the Sad Beige neutral epidemic.

Update: no time travel yet but they do want a Space Force Academy and this is not how I saw Starfleet originating.

Not much levity to be found in Project 2025, but figured I’d inform you all that it wants a military budget report with a due date of September 2023. Apparently I haven’t gotten to the time travel part of the document yet.

In light of student aid, food assistance, assistance for child expenses (formula, diapers, etc), and so much more being illegally halted, I just want to remind you:

If you see someone "stealing" food, diapers, hygiene supplies, etc from a major retailer

I’ve been cutting down my meds and spreading them out over longer periods of time. I’m trying to stockpile a bit just in case. I am not enjoying this process one bit. 💚

I’m taking so many notes. So many.

Totally fair. And I am reading other stuff at the same time so I’m not fully immersed in this. It’s kind of strange so far. Lots of criticism of profitable corporations, which in theory makes sense but in practice they’re running things so ???

I can’t tell if this is masochism or a desperate attempt to understand The Other Side, but I’m about to try reading the entirety of Project 2025. Please pray for me in this tumultuous time.

Current sanity saver is coloring as many obnoxious rainbow mandalas as possible.
