Don’t spend your time wondering what you could have done differently. Chances are, there’s nothing you could have done. Some people just don’t get along, even if they share DNA. Don’t try to push a relationship with people who don’t love you.

Please remember this holiday season that not everyone has a good family to go home to. Some people aren’t going to care what your achievements or joys are. Some people are just going to use this time of year to be shitty like they are the rest of the year.

Today, I seriously told a patient, “Limon Slush (flower) smells like an Arnold Palmer. The drink, not the golfer.”

They said, “Thank you for clarifying”, just as seriously.

Scott (the walking thirst trap) and I saw Willie Nelson and the Family last night in Gautier, then stayed the night in Pascagoula. This morning, we got back to Pensacola and stopped at the library. I am so excited for all the books! Currently on chapter 7 of Weyward by @emiliahart.bsky.social

You know how there’s a presidential library for all former presidents? Trump doesn’t have one. I have heard nothing about building one for him. I guess it’s hard when all the books are banned and/or have words.

The Holter monitor is working well now; when I need to double-tap, it is lighting up. I am one week in on a two-week monitor. I am still having trouble sleeping, and my heart rate ramps up at night. I have no reason to be anxious within my home.

I’m waiting for the hybrid edible to kick in, rolling an indica joint, crocheting granny squares, and watching the 1980s Circus of the Stars shows on YouTube.

We don’t know much about tennis tournaments in this house, but at least my kids know the crip walk and that Serena is a legend.

I was talking to Aidan about Serena Williams getting in trouble for crip walking at the US Open. He said, “I don’t know what that is.”

I said, “I’ll show you a video.”

He said, “No, I know what the crip walk is. I don’t know what the US Open is.”

I completely agree. Don’t you knit or crochet? Doing that while listening to an audiobook also counts as reading.

I need to start crocheting F 💣 so we can use them as stress balls!

Thanks! Thankfully, no one panic buys the vegan ingredients. I’m not going vegan, but vegan baking can be super convenient when eggs, milk, and butter are hard to come by.
