The Jade Falcon OpFor for this mission: Couple Fulcrum Heavy Hovertanks, a Locust IIC and a Howler.

My light/scout lance for this sortie: Locust, Blackjack, Phoenix Hawk, Nova Prime. And spent some points to put a medium emplacement turret on one of my buildings, see how that works out. (and uh yeah, I left the Wraith mini in the shot instead of the Blackjack. And yeah, my merc company isn't in Table Ready Paint yet...)

Bad Timing right after the holidays & before people have gotten tax refunds/bonuses? My wife is an author, was doing the con circuit for a bit. We had one that was the week before Black Friday. Attendance in general was low & nobody was selling much. Figured it was people saving for BF. Which Con?

This first mission was a Guided Tutorial, so I won, of course! I really liked having it Guided. Very clear examples with everything spelled out on how to get the Modifiers, how and why to interpret the AI and Commander cards. Looking forward to learning that stuff and doing it myself!

End of Round 3. The Phoenix Hawk got the Pouncer, who had jumped up to a roof top. And, the Locust finished off the TWolf after the Warhammer hit it hard.

Paints used: Citadel Black Templar Contrast, Vallejo Jade, Sand Yellow, & Brass. Base is Agrellan Badland technical, the ring is a Sharpie Gloss Black paint pen. The wash is Agrax Earthshade.

Closer look at the mech in a 3/4 front view. I buggered up one of the yellow stripes, oops. I'm tempted to go get a light green spray to base the whole model in to avoid all those little 'bare' primer spots...

It could be. The feeder is on a post in the middle of the yard, primarily to keep squirrels off of it.

Original shot right off the camera. Lens fogged up, so it has a rather effect '70s Soft Focus film look to it.

Stepped out on the deck last night to get a pic of a cloud formation that was backlit & doing that Silver Lining thing. Camera fogged up going from AC to 104% Humidity, & the original shot had a severe '70s Soft Focus effect going on. But, DxO fixed it in the darkroom! #photography #micro43 #cloud
