I just have to say it. I may never get over the fact that our country elected someone who calls people names every chance he gets.

Former is my first name lately. Former DNC Vice Chair, Former MD Dem State Chair, Former Chair of JWi and JCPA, Former Interior Designer, Political fundraiser and Hill COS. Not sure what’s next.

19.04.2025 20:32 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Agree- He is a talent. Hogg did not run saying vote for me and I will invest $20 million to primary candidates. If he would have said that he wouldn’t be Vice Chair.
19.04.2025 20:10 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Absolutely multi-faceted approach - I’m one of the 50 state strategy advocates - but if you are a DNC officer you direct your efforts to make that happen - you don’t attempt to defeat Democrats you decide are “too old”.
19.04.2025 20:07 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0You are conflating the issue. David is an elected DNC Officer Congress picks their own Leaders. The actual DNC members are local activists from across the country and abroad and in 2025 the new DNC officers elected are the youngest and most diverse ever. They were expected to be on the same team.
19.04.2025 19:59 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It absolutely was a perfect example. None of us are happy - we lost - but defeating people because David Hogg decides to invest money that could go to defeat Republicans isn’t what a DNC Officer should be doing.
19.04.2025 19:33 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Of course you need a multi-level approach - but pick seats that will gain a majority instead of throwing money into solid Democratic seats.
19.04.2025 19:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I might have actually voted for David. I campaigned with him in 2018 when I was on the most progressive ticket MD had ever seen. So don’t make assumptions. Being a DNC Officer comes with responsibilities and limits and he’s thumbed his nose at a key requisite-neutrality.
