I gave the clinical ranges to show the huge difference in T levels between men and women. This whole ridiculous conversation was because of my simple assertion that men have physiological advantages over women in sport.

The "developing toward" part of the definition is to capture those *extremely rare* cases of people with DSDs where only a medical expert could tell the sex through imaging and tests. Some of them, because of their condition are infertile.

The graph isn't showing people, it's showing morphological traits. Each person is a collection of traits. The traits don't define female/male.
Sex is defined by the development towards producing either small or large gametes.

For example men on average are stronger than women. The purple overlap shows the area of men and women as strong/weak as each other. Or maybe it could be women with very big clitorises and men with tiny micro-penises. Those things don't define their sex. Should I go on?

It says morphological traits. The people under male and female are male and female-obviously. You could do this for each trait and the shape would look different, this is just illustrative of the concept of variation within the binary. You can call it bimodal if you want - for the observable traits.

Here's an illustration of how there is overlap of sex characteristics within the binary.

I'm watching it for the first time. The production values are excellent but the storylines are getting a bit stupid (Season 3).

Sex is binary with a lot of variation of sex characteristics under the two categories of male and female. How could there be *no* overlap? That's ludicrous.
As for testosterone, the range for men is:
193 to 824 ng/dL

Range for women:
Less than 40 ng/dL.
