RESULTS: substantial variability in the detail concerning the music resources used> for many, minimal info. This lack of detail = challenges for reproducing + applying the findings. From what was reported, a single listening session w music chosen by the experimenter was common.

RESULTS: WB benefits experienced during birth include pain management, psychological well-being, and labour progression: music listening during labour is associated with shortened first-stage labour, increased rates of vaginal deliveries, and accelerated labour progression.
