For whatever reason (president was a democrat/they love Nazis), republicans thought that this was egregious government overreach, something they couldn’t claim about the idiot in Oregon because we all saw the video of him pointing a gun at cops, and heard the audio clearly. This was impossible for Babbitt because she was surrounded by a bunch of other screaming terrorists, allowing them to create their own fantastic narrative. .
