Why do I like having a diary with suddendeath overtime

What happened to us that we enjoy random chance exhibitionism

This one was supposed to go second. I never had twitter and don’t know how it works

And that’s the story of why Bearhead Lilo will soon be moving out of my studio and onto the dashboard of my car. Because every time a kid comments on it (and boy do they), I have to think about time being a flat circle 🙃

4. We are gazing blithely at Bearhead Lilo while trying in vain to make sense of far more absurd things. Dead children, “Weapons Of Mass Destruction”, innumerable horrors and their dubious justifications, in your time; in mine.

So anyway, dear four year old me gluing a bear head on Lilo, a few things:

1. This will come back to haunt us.
2. Sadly, we do not grow up to be a prosthetics engineer like we dreamed. The Bear community is relieved.
3.We are about to go to war in the Middle East. In your time; in mine.

It has come to my attention that there was recently a Lilo and Stitch remake. I learned this because all of a sudden, every single child in my studio between the ages of 4 and 13 is asking me, usually with horror, “why does Lilo have a bear head 😟 .” Like in a Why Would You Do This, You Monster way

I somehow kept it for decades and it now (not for much longer) lives on the bookshelf in my teaching studio. Until recently this was a nonissue.

When I was four, I cut a tiny rubber bear fingerpuppet in half, and I glued the head over the head of a Lilo toy I found at the junk store. I thought it looked better like that
