Author Rep: Inkwell #RevPit ‘24 winner
Congrats! This sounds so good!
14.04.2025 20:44 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I can finally shout about how wonderful this year’s #RevPit submissions were! I had SO much fun as a first reader and there were more than a few entries where I was disappointed I couldn’t read the rest of the book. Can’t wait to see everyone’s books in the store one day!!!

Camp RevPit came out of the 2020 Annual Contest when everyone's mental health was seriously suffering, and a big conversation happened about what would help writers cope with the feelings of rejection after the winners were announced.

I would never have gotten my agent or book deal without @joelbrigham.bsky.social and @reviseresub.bsky.social. Joel’s revisions were so succinct and on-point, whoever he chooses this year as his #RevPit winner is a lucky writer!

06.03.2025 22:38 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 01/3 I hope this doesn’t sound generic, but definitely focus on putting together the best submission pack you can—a QL that has clear stakes, hooky logline, and as strong of a manuscript as you can (strong ≠perfect—my QL and manuscript both got 100x better with @joelbrigham.bsky.social’s suggestions)
06.03.2025 22:33 — 👍 1 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Can confirm @joelbrigham.bsky.social really is fantastic! He LOVES sports so if you have a story in that realm definitely submit to him! Otherwise you’ll prbly get the most bang for your buck on time focusing on query and logline (tho full disclosure I edited my manuscript up to the last minute 😂)
