Fun fact the first one in this batch was the first time I tried drawing blobs

yea like even if they stick with the same core gameplay he just knows how and when to mix it up and add something new and different to the table

his vision for the pink boyo is so refreshing for the series in my opinion, and while games like forgotten land is fun in its own right, the direction for the series always seem to have stagnated since return to dream land, of which that game was the closest to match the energy the older games had

secretly im a GIANT kirby fan that has played and beaten basically every Kirby game (except Epic Yarn, i'd have more fun taking benadryl) and i am hoping sakurai works on a mainline kirby game again

Meta Knightmare and the True Arena are absolute bangers, and while the main soundtrack does sound crunchier due to DS sound chip, I think the brand new tracks more than makes up for it

i feel like it's less about the tone of the series and more of the spectacle/action, as Sakurai's Kirby games tend to be more energetic from beginning to end.
