Amnesty International Canada responds to Supreme Court ruling in sex work challenge As an intervenor the case, Amnesty International argued that Canada’s sex work laws must uphold its international human rights obligations.

Sex workers have a right to work safely.

To criminalize and stigmatize sex work is not the solution. Canada must adopt a feminist, human rights-based approach that protects sex workers and enables them to access a wide range of supports to ensure their safety.

Canada must:

• Ban all other trade linked to Israel’s genocide, apartheid or illegal occupation
