My Steam account turned old enough to buy alcohol about a year ago, and they’re still hitting me with the age verification when I view games in the store. There’s no incentive for them to change anything, and potentially incentive for them not to, so I guess this will just be how it is. :-/

I go to NYC once a year, and I pretend for the crowd that it’s so I can watch Broadway shows or see tourist attractions, but in reality I’m eating two everything bagels w/ cream cheese every morning while there. I even take one to the airport the morning I fly home. Bagels for life.

Those of us who were burned by this all remember that pain. 😅

Shit, even if you’re actively putting in the effort you’re still gonna slip up sometimes. Admitting that you’re fucking up in those moments, and accepting that, is also a big part that seems to elude us at times. It’s all part of the growth though, and that means it’s worth keeping on the path.
