The idea of autism as a single spectrum has shaped thinking for decades. But many autistic people and researchers now argue the metaphor is misleading.

How on Earth (sic) did they make a 39m mirror?
"The mirror consists of 798 hexagonal segments, each 5 feet across & 2 inches thick. Another 133 segments are also needed to allow segments to be removed, cleaned & recoated."
Bonkers. Thanks again Helga. π

I prefer to think of us Autists as different rather than disabled.
Examples include Alan Turing, whose work cracking German codes shortened WW2 by literally years. I could list many more - Mozart, Da Vinci, Einstein etc..

A galaxy seen face-on, with a slightly elliptical disc that appears to have a hole in the centre like a doughnut. In the hole, the core is a brightly glowing point that shines light out beyond the edge of the disc. Around the hole is an inner ring of dust, and at the galaxyβs edge is a thicker outer ring of dust, with a swirling web of dust strands in between. Blue stars and red nebulae are visible behind the dust.
Spiral, elliptical or neither? π€
