Seems pointless for media to repeat the denial.

It’s a conflict of interest big enough to see from space.

Now is an excellent time to remind everyone that Wes Streeting is Mandelson's protégé and has enthusiastically stuck by his side for the entirety of Streeting's career.

Streeting was definitely cheerleading for Mandelson, though, and I’m not particularly interested in hearing his excuses.

This surely disqualifies Streeting from replacing Starmer too?

Any journalist that’s interviewing Wes Streeting but not properly quizzing him about his longstanding closeness to Peter Mandelson and why he’s been deleting tweets that illustrate that, should be seen as having zero credibility.

The idea that Wes Streeting is going to *protect* the NHS is laughable.

Wes Streeting mansplaining decency in public life, having been Peter Mandelson's great defender, is kind of sickening and funny in equal parts.

So much of this sleaze was in plain sight. When US Ambassador, Mandelson took Starmer for a photo opp at Palantir, a client of Global Counsel in which he had a huge stake. This was a monstrous conflict of interest and it was all public domain. Why did Starmer think it appropriate to go?
