re: minsang guys who both have rich inner worlds. they're both in their own bubble-this looks different for them because they've different personalities, yet the bubble is still there, trust-and it takes a while to realise there's people who won't pop it but rather will join in. the bubble metaphor is getting out of hand. i mean i see them as having very distinct personalities that can match others well but tend to isolate them at times. simultaneously, when they're together and in on a joke for example, they're a well-oiled machine; they just know how to fall in step with each other. so things that yesang does that people see as weird, and things mingi does that are seen as weird, to each other, oftentimes, are just lovable and worth joining. they let each other be weird. it's not always the case, but they really match elo so well it boggles my mind.

After letting Yeosang indulge some more in her chardonnay, Wooyoung is keen to break the silence once more. "Does it feel like it's been months since we last saw each other to you?" Yeosang swallows the last dregs in her glass. "…Yes? I mean, it has been months." "So, what's all the awkwardness for?" For a moment, Yeosang appears bewildered. Wooyoung rushes to correct herself and to be delivered from the guilt of causing Yeosang's distress. "Sorry, I didn't mean to come off strong." She worries her lip between her teeth while trying to think of conversation starters, feeling sorely juvenile. "There were all sorts of crabs." Wooyoung swivels her head. "Crabs?" Yeosang's eyes grow wide. "Did I say that out loud?" Wooyoung nods, encouraging Yeosang to elaborate on her non-sequitur.
