snippet of a work in progress: "A white landscape. The colour makes him cold; he's shivering. There is the sound of wind and waves, secondary to the blinding blanket of snow settled onto the coast. A pine tree hangs onto the edge of horizon, windswept and untouched by snow, a strangeness interrupting the bleeding of earth into light, gray sky. He walks towards it. The snow comes up to his knees and parts with the sound of water. The waves are trying to tell him—he is forgetting something. The wind wavers and wafts a scent he knows but cannot put his finger on, and the pine is no closer until suddenly it's right before him, golden as if bathed in sundown, and Wooyoung reaches for its needles."

different snippet of the same work: "Perhaps the fall is the door to the dream, like the mouth is to Wooyoung. Yeosang touches him and Wooyoung remembers he's just a pile of parts he can barely name and feel most days. He's sure he's never needed to swallow so badly, but the light pressure of Yeosang's fingers on his Adam's apple has it bobbing uncontrollably. He's been trying to breathe through his nose but it sounds too loud, lungs burning a little from the compression, heart knocking into his ribs. He parts his lips. Fingers walk up his throat, slow, moving like a spider to the burrow of his mouth, catching on his lips to get a lay of land. Yeosang pushes them inside after a moment, careful in a clinical way, exploratory. Wooyoung moans and sucks him in further, tongue stuck dry to his fingertips."

and another one: "The stars were bright; the mid-June air smelled of salt and seaweed soup. Wooyoung let his head fall back, where branches of the Kang family pine bled into the night sky. They lit up golden in a flash, and through the haze in his mind it looked like sunlight, but— The sound of brakes and two short honks. He ran before the door could open, wishing it would, that Yeosang would stop him, ask him to turn around, to stay. The taxi driver cast glances his way the whole ride home. Wooyoung stared out the window, stomach burning, and echoed his only consolation. Now, in the dark, around a mouthful of sharp teeth, Wooyoung murmurs along to his memory. It was already over when we started. It was already over when we started."

snippet from my lore hongsan wip - So Hongjoong doesn't think, in the thin grey light of the morning, that anything is different until feeling starts to trickle up into his mind from the rest of his body. It's hot, and it's hot because San has his entire self pressed into Hongjoong's back. Chest against his shoulders, knees stacked, hips snug. He has one arm around Hongjoong's waist, and when he starts, mortified, the motion only seems to have the effect of stirring San enough to pull him tighter, the flex of his arm squeezing Hongjoong through both of their bedclothes.
