Those two were really great in scenes together, but I have to say Gina and Tuc were also hilarious. Gina played OTT Kelly in a way that was still so palatable.

I think I’m going to try to get back into fic writing again because the real world just keeps my blood pressure high. I will always include some level of ensemble, but would you have more interest in Dinah (GL), Kelly (OLTL), or Phyllis/GT only (YR) as a focus & does pairing matter? #GL #YR #OLTL

Guiding Light was still trying to tell story and they had really great pairings with fantastic actors. YR doesn’t respect their best talent, has no story, and cannot seem to figure out chemistry between pairings.

I 100% agree. I have a terrible feeling it’s the latter.

Rant - I hate ambiguous endings in books and movies. IMO, a writer’s job is to write the beginning, middle, and end. I’m not reading the book and/or watching the movie to take on the job to choose my own ending. If I hate yours, I’ll make up my own, but the choose your own adventure mess must end.

I know the love a parent has for their child is unconditional, but I’d have to love a child with those memories from their cousin’s house or something. 😳

What’s the name of this please? I was equal parts terrified and fascinated by the show called “Ghost Inside My Child”. Sounds similar.

FG is his normal problematic self here, but I always thought it was interesting (but not surprising 🙄) that he said more about her negotiations than she ever did.

Ya know, it probably would have with me too except that Dinah was involved in so much of the story and I was worried they were still dancing around the Dinah/Matt thing. Dinah/Hart were about to implode bc of the incoming Cassie worship. I do think 97/98 was better for WM than 96. She got fire back

Oh and the whole search for Vanessa story … they find her.

Wendy Moniz has some exceptional scenes with Dinah’s miscarriage IMO. Annie helping drive Dinah to crush Cassie is also enjoyable. I wouldn’t say Dinah vs Cassie is enjoyable necessarily, but it should be witnessed.

CW just continues to put in work throughout ‘97 that is incredible.
