@felicitymuth.bsky.social starts our day with a plenary on bumblebee cognition. Bees get different rewards from plants (nectar, pollen, heat, resin, etc.), but cognition studies usually only use sucrose solution. Turns out bees learn both pollen & nectar, w asymmetric effects on learning!
