Women in Horror Month is drawing to a close, but I couldn’t go without celebrating female voices in the genre. While I know what reading these stories feels like, I wanted to explore the other side of things, what it’s like to write them.

House of Bone and Rain is a Bram Stoker Award nominee and I have no words. This is a weird, very personal novel, and seeing it in here with books I loved and authors I admire means a hell of a lot. Congrats to Paul, Stephen, Gwendolyn, and Josh!
