a childhood friend of mine was somehow related to Patsy Gallant. When "New York To L.A." was on the radio we were reminded of that relation at every opportunity.

Artists like Alan Parsons ought to be able to bring legal action against platforms like Spotify when this happens. It's not difficult for Spotify to use some kind of "Was This You?" verification for verified artists. That'll put a stop to it.

I think the best part about aging is that you can just start telling people about the new music you've discovered, and they would just have to deal with it. (This goes double if you're the one creating the music, like we do.)

Enthusiasm for music should not be muted by things like "approval". ;)
