Finally back from a whirlwind European tour! which was entirely just in France and actually just the one part and just the one of us (me) and wherein I wasn't there specifically to perform music BUT I actually DID play some music a few times and people DID love the music I played.

I think the best part about aging is that you can just start telling people about the new music you've discovered, and they would just have to deal with it. (This goes double if you're the one creating the music, like we do.)

Enthusiasm for music should not be muted by things like "approval". ;)

I'm not sure that this is the best place to ask this but: has there ever been a consensus on what counts as Jazz and what doesn't? Is there a litmus test of some kind?

We aim for a vibe similar to the production on mid-1980's Leonard Cohen albums. I hope that's jazzy enough for most of you.

Why on earth is the lead vocal so quiet during this era? I'd love to know. I do love the hard-panning of the instruments, though. and that insane buzzy guitar. Mmm.

I hope publishing houses still employ human proofreaders. Nothing makes me check out quite like easily avoidable grammar/spelling mistakes.
