A philosopher of science working at a Dept. of Industrial Eng. & Mgmt. (Just a hypothetical 😅) How would you "sell" the importance of phil of sci for engineers pursuing their master's degree? Sure: "Advancing knowledge & education" and "Addressing ethical & epistemological issues". But what else?

We've been working for some time on the MeReX project (www.merex-project.org/about) An important part was asking our empirical collaborators whether they think ‘representation’ was needed in their explanation, and if so, how they understand that concept. Do you see value in doing that? Why/Why not?

Better late than never: Presidents of 8 Israeli universities announce: "Impeaching the Ombudsman is a danger. If that happened, we would strike and protest" (www.ynet.co.il/news/article...). The Judicial overhaul (or revolution, to be more precise) is back again. Are the hostages back? Is war over?

You didn’t have the full Berlin experience without joining a protest. Universities face cutbacks, since the Berlin Senate failed to uphold the terms of the higher education pacts and unilaterally implemented cuts amounting to 142 million € – an 8% decrease to the 2025 budget. So we chipped in ;-)
