Tara Moriarty's work, if I understand it correctly, documents an ongoing excess mortality in Canada of about 13%, something like 40,000 extra fatalities/year. She also documents ongoing major impacts on hospitals and public health. It's remains a catastrophe.

Love the topic but unfortunately can't sub as Substack openly & proudly partners with protofascist groups, and is well known support nazi rhetoric for years. Not giving money and support to a platform that directly supports them via partnerships (Substack, well known to directly partner with protofascist groups as they promote it themselves)
