TRAGEDY

Guys. I lost a part for my sewing machine I'm so fucked

one major project done. the other is moving along. i feel good i feel in good spirits i think i might just be ready for tc (knock on wood)

It's heavy stuff. I don't normally say words out loud, preferring to draw for communication. So I probably won't explain this further. Just, I was very confused and alarmed at how taken I am with Vampires and how tragic it is. I want everyone (characters) to lose here, and that's not normal for me

Plus, when everything that can go wrong does go wrong for a character, it makes me feel grateful for the smaller things that do go right in my own life. At least my life isn't as doomed by the narrative as cb!Pyro, y'know? At least I'm not responsible for people's lives, just their spirits.

I have the beginnings of a theory. Because the world seems riddled with unfairness, prejudice, and hatred right now, there's a sense of catharsis seeing that reflected in fiction. I wasn't expecting it to be this strong. I wasn't expecting it all all, tbh

What's the point of a tragedy?

I want them to have the right motivation, to do everything right, to make the right choices and to care, and I want her to suffer for it at every turn. *Why?*

But for some unknown reason. This particular character. I don't understand. Why do I want absolutely nothing to go their way? Why do I want her to suffer? Why do I want for her to keep trying just to ultimately fail so many times that she gets crushed? I want them broken. Why? She doesn't deserve it

Im not usually a fan of unresolved suffering for no reason. I'm very careful to care about people's well being. As an older adult in a young adult space, I'm almost compulsive about caring for, wanting the best for people around me. Creatives need encouragement, a safe place to fail and try again...

I was not expecting #VampiresSMP to have this much grip on me. Y'see, it's not my favorite genre. I know it's an angsty tragedy. I mean, I think it won't end well, especially for v!apo. So I was really not expecting for it to hold my attention like this.

A one page and 2 cases comic of Zombie Cleo. On the upper one they are at the edge of a cliff, the forest behind, looking in front of her. She seems pensive. In the backgroud the sun is rising behind a broken down bridge above the sea. In the second page its a close up of their face, looking ahead, speaking. We can see they have fangs now, and 2 round bite marks still bloody on her neck. There is 3 bubbles, a quote from Cleo's episode : "I should've known... Nothing ends well when vampires are around."

"Just ... Be more careful, Pyro," Apo squinted at him. She stared at his grin. Were his canines longer? Avid was getting to her. Martyn, too.

"I w- I was out in the forest," Pyro smiled disarmingly. He tilted his head. "I went out to get some resources with O- S- uh, with Owen. Chopped some trees." Apo didn't believe him. Or did she? Had Pyro always been this awkward? She asked herself as he mimed chopping a tree.
