I’m not going to lie this was not the thwomps sequel I was expecting.

Congratulations!

How the hell was I supposed to know fan outcry and masterful negotiations could have saved Giant Bomb from being murdered, people have been trying that in this space for the last decade and so much legacy has been erased because of it.

To those who never gave up hope and kept fighting, thank you.

Maybe one day I will take the energy that the site once gave me and create something I can be proud of again. It’s the least I could do for the legacy of what was the foundation of so much.

I would go onto post some goty lists, attempt some blogging, and the very fact that I wasn’t even well known by anyone there that the community still lifted up the works of everyone, it felt special. I wish we could go back sometimes.

In the wake of the Giant Bomb news, while I haven’t been watching, and only ever minority participated in the community, this site for the better part of the 2010s meant so much to me. There were days where I was so depressed that I couldn’t get out of bed, and could only watch stuff via my phone.

The way we solved this problem in my group is for the first sticky mousse stacks we started taking them as stacks of 3 leaving the farthest person from the stack out. You still want to mit it since it will likely kill squishies but it helps generate the extra bit of bar needed with the gear increase

Finally finished Metaphor, the game seems to completely go off the rails systems wise at the end but I enjoyed this story 100% more than P5 so I guess I'll take what I can get.
