The movie Nobody was pretty meh, but had decent action. The movie Nobody2 is so ridiculous it’s ALMOST a comedy but falls short bc it’s so desperate to show masculinity for the “Everyman”.

I really just wish the Ballerina chose an actress with a better athletic frame or more muscle and athleticism in their fighting skills. Ana De Armas is a fine actress but she moves like a skinny girl. I understand the ballerina aspect but those girls are still strong as fuck.

I want there to be at least 10 seasons of Pokerface. This is bringing life to night time tv watching again. It’s so fun

Finally watching the Minecraft movie. I love how it’s like a classic 80s style adventure movie for kids. I haaate how all the girls in the movie have to be the sassy “you can’t do that” type. Why can’t we have one single wild and out of control girl in this show too.

Has anyone here seen the movie Echo Valley - because I just watched it and as a person who had addiction issues in the past - I HAVE THOUGHTS!

I literally just finished the entire season of Dope Thief in 2 nights. It’s definitely a recommended watch.

Hey if you’re looking for something exciting and thrilling to watch - Dope Thief is REALLY good. It’s a detective/DEA/Criminal/informant/organized crime type show. Super good. Kind of like The Wire vibes.

Sooo I had a crying panic attack watching the first episode of handmaids tale. It wasn’t even that dramatic or moving. It just made me experience deep dread for my country

I can not articulate properly just how much I LOVE Pokerface! I swear to god I am so happy to have a woman lead like Natasha Leone be a lead in a fun murder mystery show. And using Burn Notice as background on some of the episodes is amazing.

I haven’t really thought about it deeply but the demographic going to see the Minecraft movie being so overly destructive and mildly violent makes me feel so uncomfortable. I love the idea of a movie made for kids that engages them, but y u destroy?

On the note of the security guard - I didn’t like him at first. I felt he was inept at everything but expected accolades for it — a promotion, getting the the girl, etc. but he redeemed himself towards the end. A victim of a changing society who was trying to be true to himself.

But it would have been great if the two most earnest people on the show were the ones to die this season bc that’s usually how that world operates. You lose your soul to the $$$ or die. Same w/ the security guard.

I think they should should have had the youngest son die. That wealthy family got away too damn easily. I hated it. But I guess it’s kinda real. Those people never truly endure hardships. They always wind up ok.

We got a little blue collar gay love story in that show Paradise. Kinda sweet to see honestly.

Yea they literally did a grep ‘gay’ and no further looking was done. So Mr. Joe Gay and Gaylord Hospital pinged to be deleted. Lmao. Like remedial ass computer programming.

But instead it’s casted with men who would have grandkids and 401ks and colonoscopies and maybe considering dentures.

Like, the Dinklage character should have been played by the chubby kid in Stranager Things - that’s how it’s written. But somehow played by an Emmy winning 55 year old. wtf. And Brolin should have been Skylar Gisondo. That’s how this is written 100%

Also, they are brothers and the children of GWEN CLOSE and it’s so weird throughout the movie they refer to “the kids”. Aka these 60 year old men.

I can’t figure out if the Josh Brolin character is supposed to be special needs or neurodivergent but the acting of the character is weird.

Ok I figured it out. It feels like a bunch of grandparents got together and make a “teen movie” they always wanted to make. I swear the dialogue for these two RESPECTED ACTORS is like shit right outta a med budget teen comedy

Ok guys I’m really kinda stoned and THIS IS TRIPPING ME OUT!!!! How did they get these Oscar winning/emmy winning actors - MULTIPLE OF THEM in this terrible movie?!??

And the character Brendan Frazier plays is like a combo of Farva from super troopers and Gomer Pyle… and HOLY SHIT IS THAT MARISSA TOMEI?!?!

Now they’re doing rock/paper/scissors for the bed versus couch and fighting like “step brothers”-esque punch backs. It’s actually weird to see 50-something’s act this way.

Watching a comedy called #brothers with Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage and I am sooooo confused why there’s a couple of 60 year olds talking, acting, and dressing like they are 25. Brolin’s wife is pregnant and he just lost his job flipping burgers

I didn’t really enjoy any of it. It felt mediocre and the “twists” seemed pointless
