If the US propose to give the invaded regions to Russia and in the same document commit to jointly exploiting energy and fossil resources in these regions in cooperation with Russia, than this simply means: The US joined the war on Ukraine. On the russian side.

Whell the Russians themselves said that the cease-fire only comes into effect after the lifting of trade and payment sanctions. Since these are European sanctions there is no possibility of them being lifted hence there is no ceasefire.

Only one problem: the US can’t lift any sanctions that Europe has applied. And all the sanctions in question now are european sanctions.

Maybe someone tell the Russians that these sanctions cannot be lifted by the United States since they are European sanctions. They just keep talking to the wrong people 😂

These are all European sanctions and I just don’t see how the US it’s going to get any European sanctions lifted since their government just explicitly showed what they think about Europe.

What to call this if not a strategic defeat? 🤗

That’s right but the main sanctions are not US-sanctions and Europe is very far from relieving any sanctions.

Your whole government is acting in russian interests so obviously that I think the strategy may be: Let’s just scream we are russian assets so nobody will actually believe we are russian assets. 🤔
