Perplexity has offered Google an unsolicited $34.5 billion bid to acquire Chrome. Multiple investors have apparently agreed to finance the deal. Can't imagine Alphabet selling it. OpenAI expressed interest. Intriguing if you think about the Apple and Perplexity rumors. Could Apple soon own Chrome?!?
