I guess being on VRChat is drawing me out of my shell a bit more. If you didn't know I'm naturally shy, I don't speak all that much why? I'm just observing what's going on and will interact when and how I feel like it.

I am, in fact a trans ally - I do have a few friends who are trans (both ways) and if someone were to do the same thing, you fucking BET I'll step up and help defend them!

People had the nerve and audacity to misgender Elliot Page (if you don't know him - look him up).

If people don't care about someone's gender, even though they're actually TRANS .. continually misgender them and call them out on it .. I don't want to deal with them.

What really pisses me off is the fact that people BLATANTLY misgender someone when comparing them to someone else in a given role.

In this instance the role was that of Shaggy in Scooby Doo .. the two people being compared were Elliot Page and Matthew Lillard .

Seeing as it's my birthday today I hopped on VRChst briefly and picked up a Julia Winterpaw avatar which I thought looked rather cute.

On the eve of my birthday, I'm sitting here literally crying (yes I'm not ashamed to admit it).

But why though ?

It's my first birthday since the passing of my mom back in November last year, realising how much I miss her etc ..

Woooohoooo my Meta Quest 3s is coming today.

Once I get it I'll check it out - hopefully get my headset hooked up to it and get it all set up ..

Got another story idea I'm considering, and honestly I think it would make a good movie as well.

All I will say is that contains a dog (no NOT Cujo) - a neighbour who commits an unspeakable act, and who pays the ultimate price for their actions.
