First of all, Touchstone has been long dead. Disney doesn’t need it anymore because they nowhave 20th Century (Fox) to do adult movies.

Second, Miramax doesn’t need the Weinsteins (especially Harvey) ruining them more.

30 years ago today, Toy Story was released in theaters. On top of being a great movie in itself, it's one of the very few movies in history like this that its impact forever changed not just animation, but the entirety of cinema. Even back in 1995, everyone knew that Toy Story was a game-changer.

I’ve honestly become so sick and tired of these live-action remakes and Disney just using those to exploit nostalgia for money, and I feel this will be no different. From what I saw, it’s just the same thing as the 2016 movie but with no changes at all.

Meh. I kinda lost interest in this show nowadays.

I think he might have, as well as with The Simpsons Movie, since they are better regarded among the anti-modern Simpsons crowd too, but he hates everything else.

It’s a term used by people who outright dislike anything that The Simpsons has been putting out nowadays, mainly after the first 10 seasons. But it’s people like this guy who are the reason why that term has lost all meaning to me anymore. I know there’s still some good Simpsons stuff even now.

I'm a firm believer in films getting a second life. It's why I don't hold the box office or use the initially critical analysis as verbatim to dictate how a film should be remembered. What matters is how the person feels about it and if they can cherish it. That makes it special.
