I have added a function to my geometry nodes set-up to remesh the canopy for more efficient use of quads with less overdraw, better shading and more artistic control :)

Day 1 of #LudumDare58 is complete! I'm working on a collectathon with a twist: you can only play the game once, and yet, it's impossible to complete in a single sitting. Each player will have to pass on what they've learned to the next if anyone is to finish the game.

Got line of sight working & some sample enemies
(had to write my own raycasting since I'm not using Godot's collision system)

Also put together a transition between the roaming state & the turn-based state. Next up is the combat system!
