I was suffering through the Creepy Castle Beaver Bother as I typed that if it wasn't obvious - I could never hate a game I grew up with, but playing through it on my days off from work has definitely adversely affected some of the nostalgia I had towards it. Noting down some key bits as I play

Dealing with the rabbit race in Fungi Forest , the beetle race in Crystal Caves & now Beaver Bother in Creepy Castle all in the same day, I am straight up NOT having a good time & I'm convinced parts of the 2nd half of Donkey Kong 64 weren't playtested

Playing through Fungi Forest regularly & have already ran into 4-5 incredibly stupid & frustrating cases of "why would you even think to design it like this"

Biggest culprit is the rabbit race you do with Lanky depleting your Coconuts & forcing you to replenish when other challenges don't do this

Playing through DK64 after finding my old N64 cartridges from when I was a kid - it breaks my heart into tiny pieces to admit this, but this game might just be some hot unpolished ass 😢😢

Absolutely adore everything you're doing, but is there any proof whatsoever Crossworlds is actually physically on cart and not a game-key card as well? Given Sega's abysmal track record for Switch 2 support (including having a 3GB game as a Key Card), I'm not exactly optimistic.

Puyo Puyo, Sonic & Bravely Default could very very easily fit on the standard Switch 2 Carts we have now multiple times over. This isn't a cart size issue for publishers, it's a "publisher doesn't want to cover cart costs so pushes it onto the consumer" issue. It's by design.

Playing through Super Mario 3D World for the 1st time blind yesterday after having owned it since 2015, this game is incredible I'm such an imbecile for having not played it until now

Bit goofy when everybody else is on Switch 2, but played through Mario 64 for the first time!

Never saw the appeal for a long time, but playing through, especially the later levels, I totally get it now! VERY janky, but one of the most important games ever & still really satisfying to play! ❤

Does not help that a Switch 2 will be well over £500 as I'm going almost entirely physical with games, & getting a microSD Express for more storage is basically mandatory, especiall with all the Game Key Cards. Will most likely wait until at earliest July until I get one.

Constantly going back and forth on whether to get a Switch 2 at launch, wait for DK Bananza, or get it in winter when I know more of what we're getting year 1

Bananza not being a launch title seems so bizarre, hoping that not launching with a big 1st party single player game doesn't hurt Switch 2
