saw some ken play today in SF6 and thought "damn I kinda miss this guy"

KoF 13 casual games between pros is the peak of fighting games and has still not been matched to this day

He's very gimmicky but once you know how to handle his gimmicks he's left with pretty low damage, no frame advantage anywhere, and risky neutral. His only legitimately really good tool imo is jab into electricity pressure.

Fuerte really is that good yes, he's just restrictively difficult and I'm not just talking about run stop fierce. There's a lot of really bonkers things he can do ever since they buffed quesadilla bomb

The Lion needs to work on its neutral. Sometimes it feels like the Lion is overly reliant on exploiting its main's gimmicks without "learning the game properly." The Lion is unsure of how to beat a cautious, fundamental opponent.

Experimenting with a 15 trainer Hydreigon deck that just tries to abuse copycat to get my evolution as fast as possible, it still needs some fixing but the pieces are there. 130 on turn 3/4 goes absolutely insane.

Fantina decks feel iffy
Misty+gyara returns as the most annoying strategy in the game
Many non ex cards feel quite good like jellicent, goodra, ludicolo
Hydreigon goes crazy
19t absol is probably real
I've run into zero people playing whimsicott, greninja, rapidash, or ampharos

Mega rising impressions:
-Altaria, blaziken, gyara are all top meta picks which is unsurprising
-Hitmonchan is up there with dark tina as the most brick-proof card in the game
-Both lisia and copycat are really busted. Copycat feels good enough to put 2 in every deck going forward
