Thomas B. August 6th, 2025 Five Stars Magic+ is, in my opinion, a new gold standard for 3rd party content for PF2e. They've created systems robust enough that they change how you'll look at your spell lists in fundamental ways. And that's "systems", as in multiple, each one is foundational enough that whole concepts could be spun out for other 3rd party books. My personal favorite has to be Essence Casting, because of how much it changes without upending the entire magic system. You get to have as many spells as you want, never running out, and all of the spells and spell lists still work, and it's balanced. It's quite the feat. But then they went and made things like their Apect Summons & Battleforms, and that system is also a treat. They just work. Giving unique options, the ability to stick with your favorites, and ease of use all in one package. And all of this without having to crack open a Bestiary. The way they made a balanced and satisfying specialist archetype for casters is really the cherry on top. It allows you to create all kinds of builds that you'd want to play that get to focus in on a couple of spell types, without leaving you feeling like you've shot yourself in the foot by making that choice. This is truly A+ work by Team+
