Elon Musk and DOGE have spent the past 100 days threatening the nonpartisan civil service who deliver essential services to all Americans.

We’ve spent the past 100 days in court, bringing 59 legal actions against the Trump administration.

And we’re just getting started.

Just this: thank you for everything you are doing to bring some measure of justice and sanity back to our government.

"We are grateful for the court’s decision to pause these harmful Executive Orders while it takes a careful look at how the orders blatantly violate our Constitution. As our complaint states, in the United States, there is no King.” Full statement: bit.ly/4beydF9

Musk or Us Recess Toolkit

It’s time to do what we do best: Make Republicans squirm and ensure Democrats fight like hell.

Your representative is back home for recess and we’ve got events planned across the country (including Tesla dealerships).

We know that showing up works and the stakes are too high to stay home. LFG. πŸ‘‡

TY! I was here during Beta (2023) then wasn’t sure I needed any more social media, and I drifted away. Now many more actual friends are here, so I’m happy about that!

I appreciate all the political news & insights here on @bsky.app but sometimes you just need a bird. (Great Egret) I live on the Suisun Marsh on the northeastern end of the SF Bay. It helps me stay sane in troubled times.

The Undocumented Workers Who Helped Build Elon Musk’s Texas Gigafactory Tesla and SpaceX both relied on their labor while Musk advocated for a border crackdown.

New: Elon Musk relied on undocumented workers to help build Tesla's gigafactory in Texas. He later propagated anti-immigrant sentiment to vault himself into political power alongside President Trump.

Hard to say. I always thought jello should just be a sweet dessert. I would still eat it anytime as dessert, except for lemon or lime flavors.

I know that smell! I grew up in Oakland CA and there was a plant miles away that we could still smell in the afternoons. Loved it. Though sometimes Hunt’s tomato sauce took over. Not as comforting.

Also, those pork tenderloin sandwiches are great. I just had one in Illinois this summer for the first time in about 30 years.

Starting in the 50s, home cooks were fascinated with all the shiny new products of the growing food industry. My mom and grandmother were actually home economists and teachers. Educated people were sucked into this. And my mom was born in Iowa and got her home econ degree from Iowa State.

Jello was huge in the 50s and 60s. But in the 70s my mom let her nutrition sense take over, thank god. Even though it was hard to give up Wonder bread.
