Oudeka herself was born infertile, and while not shunned by her community outright, she never felt that she could connect with them and decided to break off on her own. She has incredible mastery over her own body, and has spent much of her life training in iado swordsmanship.

A rabbit-folk woman, a species known for low magical aptitude, but they make up for it with mastery over their own bodies. Most rabbit-folk live in polyamorous communities where jealousy is often a foreign concept.

For an unreasonable reason, then you are worth nothing. After seeing the inner-workings of kitsune culture versus others she believes that trying to amass power through a nation as infeasible, and now only pursues personal strength believing it is the only thing you can truly have.

The burn scars from her magic circuits now vainly tattooed over. She is pragmatic and logical, often saying that emotions are a weakness, yet she enjoys toying with the emotions of others. She firmly believes that people's words should be worth something, and if you would go back on a deal

She chased the affections of her commander, who gave in to her as she won, but when she over-extended herself, causing huge burn scars across her body from too much magic she was spurned and thus she decided to take his head and defect from the army. She wanders as a mercenary for hire

Due to this however, her body was constantly wracked, and as she grew her body grew large, muscular, and tough to adapt to the magic coursing through her, making her unattractive in the eyes of other kitsune. She ended up becoming a general in the kitsune army despite her pedigree.

Themselves as they come of age. The kitsune's tails are where they store their magic, so more tails means a higher magical aptitude, however a kitsune's physical body can only handle so much magic. Vivian is an extremely rare case of a kitsune who had the right genes to be born with 9 tails.

Allowing them to take their tails for themselves. To this end, kitsune culture has adopted a system where when children are born, they are given to care-taker families to raise to keep the parents distant from them in case they decide to perform the ritual on them if they haven't distinguished

Their society is controlled by those with the most tails, though it is extremely rare for a kitsune to be born with more than 1 tail. As a bid for increased power, kitsune discovered a ritual that allows them to effectively cannibalize their own family members so long as they are of age

Continuing with my OC's, this is Vivan Reid.

In her world, kitsune, or fox folk are largely considered evil as they are rampant expansionists of territory to the detriment of others, and will happily employ slave labor.

and the general ecosystem, which many times will ironically see them destroying undead. They prefer being alone in the woods at night, away from people as most would find N'uo frightening, but to those who are willing to get close will find a gentle soul underneath the tough exterior.

Due to this they are non-binary, though will tend towards presenting as masculine, if only so they don't ruin pretty clothes while performing their duties. They are calm and quiet, an entity of few words, but the ones that they speak hold weight. They work as a ranger of sorts, protecting nature

Continuing with my OC's, next is N'uo the skulldog.

N'uo is the result of a necromantic experiment who gained sentience via awakening magic. Their body is comprised of several black wolves effectively blended together and reformed.

His nickname isn't because he drinks, in fact he usually prefers milk to alcohol. It comes from one time when he was asked to pass out daiquiris at a party, and everyone started calling him "Daiquiri Doug". it had such a nice ring to it that he felt compelled to keep the nickname.

However his intelligence and reasoning are questionable at best. He constantly over-estimates his abilities and plans, and ends up in over his head as a result. Despite this, he is fun to be around and is very loyal to his friends, who often have to clean up his messes.
