I've been writing two books. One about motivation theory and a critique of atomic habits and lock in culture, the other about epistemology, ethics, and socioeconomics. I assumed you were conscious of capitalism's effects, so I thought your post was rhetorical and sarcastic.

So many people cope with complex systems, obsession with habitry, lock in culture, negative self talk.

They must externalize everything, because they've been trained to think it can never JUST come from themselves.

Intrinsic motivation has to do with your natural desire to do something for its value.

Now you have a culture where people have such bad executive dysfunction they become their own oppressors.

I will reward myself with a cupcake for completing my task, let's say drawing.

Schools mirror our economy, which is why learning is secondary and grades are the goal of school.

The consequences to this are information is sought for the sole purpose of completing tests.

You don't go out of your way to expend more energy on projects, because of the higher risk of mistakes.
