Honestly the optics excuse is a hell of a thing. I’m pretty sure the optics of not doing anything about people getting executed in the street are way worse.

The thing is, they’re down in the polls from all this. Their base has absolutely collapsed and most of the Labour Party’s actual members have left in droves. They’ve doubled down on all elements of this rather than realising that they’ve basically just destroyed themselves.

Attempt to run campaign and character styles that have literally nothing to do with sword and sorcery fantasy, frequently including massive anachronism.

Insist that the definitions of warlock, sorcerer, wizard, etc. used by D&D are universally applicable to all systems.

Start a punk band if there’s a plural of bards or people with the entertainer background in the party.
