03.10.2025 22:52 β π 41 π 7 π¬ 0 π 0By the way, that's not the only big news in Abortion, Every Day:
If Oklahoma healthcare providers want to keep their Medicaid funding, they'll have to sign what amounts to an anti-abortion loyalty pledgeβpromising they won't even refer patients for abortions, or affiliate with pro-choice groups
This comes at the same time that Turning Point USA has been making a concerted push to reach younger women. I hope that any female college students tempted to go to these events take note jessica.substack.com/p/turning-po...
03.10.2025 22:46 β π 54 π 6 π¬ 1 π 0One of the panelists Turning Point will host at the University of Alabama next week said of women who have abortions: "You forfeit your right to live.β
03.10.2025 22:45 β π 74 π 25 π¬ 7 π 4At the newsletter right now:
One of Turning Point USAβs first campus events since the murder of Charlie Kirk will be a panel with leaders of the abortion βabolitionβ movement - extremists who lobby for abortion patients to get the death penalty

03.10.2025 16:53 β π 258 π 13 π¬ 8 π 0When the news is coming this fast, I need a place to talk it outβand that means a livestream. This week, I couldnβt think of a better partner-in-fire than @mintimm.bsky.social of @reproductivefreedomforall.org

On the one hand, I'm so proud and in awe of these young people who are taking care of their community.
On the other, I can't believe in 2025 that women have been reduced to starting underground birth control networks

01.10.2025 17:55 β π 45 π 15 π¬ 2 π 0Not done yet!
- life-threatening pregnancies treated with c-sections & vaginal delivery rather than standard abortion, even when fetus isn't viable
- force anti-choice propaganda video in public school classrooms & AG could go after schools that don't comply
- charge providers under the RICO Act
SB 323 is model legislation from National Right to Life - so this is their roadmap for all of us:
- no exceptions for rape, incest, fatal fetal abnormalities
- patients charged with murder
- birth control ban
- ban on pro-choice websites, abortion referrals, or even general info on abortion
All eyes on South Carolina, where the anti-abortion movement is using the state as a testing ground for what they want nationally
01.10.2025 17:45 β π 201 π 98 π¬ 4 π 12If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. Itβs ridiculous.

Kudos to @kylietcheung.bsky.social who broke this story at Abortion, Every Day last week.
It's pretty common for national publications and wire services to pick up our pieces. Most of the time, we don't get credit - and that's ok because it's part of the goal
abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory...
NPR made the same mistake a while back - I get that it might not seem like the biggest deal, but right now language is *everything*
29.09.2025 19:00 β π 152 π 16 π¬ 1 π 0This headline from Politico is incorrect and feeds into anti-abortion scare tactics: doctors aren't 'anonymously' prescribing abortion pills - their name just isn't publicly visible on the pill bottle.
29.09.2025 18:57 β π 339 π 88 π¬ 5 π 2To single out abortion as the place for compromise is to ignore the political reality of the last three years.
And in a moment when the stakes are so highβas women are literally dyingβbeing both confidently wrong and hugely influential is straight up dangerous. jessica.substack.com/p/ezra-klein...
More on reproductive coercion and how attacks on abortion accessβin particular, increasing attacks on pillsβhave escalated this crisis:
25.09.2025 17:06 β π 97 π 26 π¬ 0 π 0And, re: coercion: Abortion bansβnot abortion accessβpose the real threat to victims. Forced pregnancy is a tool in the toolbox of abusers, and abortion access is a lifeline for victims. As @ifwhenhow.bsky.social's Farah Diaz-Tello put it:
25.09.2025 17:06 β π 79 π 27 π¬ 1 π 1In a newly filed motion to join an ongoing lawsuit agst abortion pills, Louisiana revealed it has a warrant for ANOTHER out-of-state abortion providerβwho they accuse of enabling a 'coerced' abortion. This builds on antis' top strategy lately: equating abortion w/ abuse:
25.09.2025 17:06 β π 114 π 61 π¬ 1 π 2Huge kudos to @kylietcheung.bsky.social, who broke the news: which was buried 50 pages into a motion from Louisiana AG Liz Murrill to join the FDA mifepristone lawsuit.
Murrill is winning the Republican AG race to get shield laws in front of SCOTUS - and is using the guise of 'coercion' to do it
Breaking news at Abortion, Every Day:
Louisiana has issued ANOTHER arrest warrant for an abortion provider in a shield state. In addition to trying to extradite NY provider Dr. Maggie Carpenter, Louisiana is targeting California doctor Dr. Remy Coeytaux.

To be clear: obviously this is about autism in as much as a theyβre trying to stigmatize and demonize! But not because they actually care. (Got so caught up ranting and want to be precise!)

Let's talk about Tylenol and pregnancy.
Fundamentally, this is about making sure women do not get one ounce of relief, but it's also about criminalization.
How long do you think it's going to be before they arrest someone for taking Tylenol during a pregnancy? We are going down that road.
If you see signs of anti-abortion activists in your community being more disruptive than usualβor if you spot anything unusual or worth passing onβbe sure to let us know at tips@abortioneveryday.com. And maybe consider showing a little extra love and support to your local abortion providers.
23.09.2025 17:51 β π 102 π 21 π¬ 0 π 0Letβs take care of each other over the next 40 days
23.09.2025 17:45 β π 199 π 49 π¬ 1 π 2Btw, Republicans know abortion is a winning issue for Dems: In Missouri, the GOP is trying to pass an abortion ban by calling it Amendment 3 in order to trick voters!
There's a reason that Republicans are co-opting pro-choice messaging or running from the issue
One also might consider that there's no such thing as 'winning' when half the population arenβt considered full human beings.
22.09.2025 18:36 β π 365 π 38 π¬ 1 π 1In 2022, Kansas voters *overwhelmingly* defeated an anti-abortion ballot measure.
Ohio voters passed an abortion rights amendment in 2023.
And Missouri? You guessed it! Voters passed Amendment 3 this past November.
So no, we don't need 'pro-life Democrats' to win.
