07.02.2026 04:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My wife and I were on a beach in the Wellington area and found this at a car park, in the grass.
It is approximately the size of a person's hand, made of bone, and intricately carved.
I've masked the lower half,as only the legitimate owner will be able to fully describe it.
Please share this...(1)
This is amazing! What a fabulous, beautiful and informative quilt. Citizen science in art.

Husband and I and a friend once spent an entire brunch c1990 trying to remember the name of the talking horse who was not Mr Ed. Roped in the tables next to us with no success. I knew the name began with f, g or h.
Two days later: Francis the talking mule.
NZ needs compulsory life jackets, and boat licences like Australia for small craft.

Today is 'Seijin-no-hi' (ๆไบบใฎๆฅ), a national holiday set aside to congratulate those who have reached -or are soon to reach- the age of majority (20 years old).
The tradition of celebrating 'coming of age' is recorded as early as 714!

A couple of creative practices you can do that take out the mental hurdle of "I'm too stressed/tired/overwhelmed to think up something to do". I do these, maybe they'll work for you.
