So if they are looking for a cinematic board artist, they are looking for a "cinematic" revisionist. And the people who applied to these positions are now out of the running. They thin the herd by not being specific in their job post.

Disney posted storyboard positions about a week ago. Im sure hundreds of people applied for the position including myself. Today one of the recruiters posted on LinkedIn that they are looking for a "cinematic" board artist for the tv board job.

I say this because the recruiter posted on LinkedIn today that they are still looking for a board artist....

I maybe be overreacting but seeing that post pissed me off. You telling me all those portfolios that came in wasn't qualified for that role? They looking for CINEMATIC Film storyboard artist operating on a TV salary? They studios are playing us for filth.

Cinematic animation storyboard artists for TV storyboards. Creating cinematic boards but getting paid tv salary. The studios KNOW artist are hurting and seeing that post is proof and proof that they have the pick of the litter can get you for a nickel instead of a dime.

Listen, so far I am enjoying All's Fair. Its messy. I love a messy show.

Ever test for a show, didnt get the position. Over a year later the show premieres and now can see why you didn't get to position?

The way the show is, I would of had a hard time having a connection with it.

Its nice see those joint statements from the entertainment industry but there needs to be action. What action are Hollywood directors, producers, celebrities going to take for this to not happen again.
