I’ve been looking for a high res image of this for years. It’s from a Capcom calendar I believe but it’s kind of pricey these days.
The artwork is amazing!

Thanks! My wallet hurts but it was worth it. 🎉
12.06.2025 03:05 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I got in one of my gaming grails today, Parodius on the MSX! I hope to track down a working MSX one of these days so I can actually play it, but I know that’s definitely going to hurt my wallet in a way I’m not ready for. 😅
This was the very first Parodius game releasing 2 years before Parodius Da.
If anyone is in the market, there's a completely fake, bootleg copy of Clay Fighter: Sculptor's Cut on Goodwill's website right now that's approaching $900USD at auction.
So I thought I'd take this opportunity to show how to tell a fake N64 game

The last few stages are really mean. Definitely couldn’t beat it when I was younger.
25.04.2025 03:01 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Happy 27th birthday to the TRUE Mega Man 9 / Rockman 9!
Still breaks my heart that this game continuously gets the shaft when Capcom releases classic collections. 😮💨
Never thought I’d ever see Gradius NEO Imperial preserved and playable! So awesome!
03.04.2025 22:04 — 👍 3 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Holy shit, NEO Imperial is playable now?? I am dying to give it a try!
03.04.2025 22:03 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The game was later ported to the GameCube in three different versions: Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. Each version added new villagers and features.
Many characters like Blathers, Kapp’n, Tortimer, and the Able Sisters were not present in the original N64 version.
Animal Forest (Doubutsu no Mori)
「どうぶつの森」
2001 - Nintendo 64 - Nintendo
Animal Crossing’s Japan-exclusive debut on the Nintendo 64. There are actually two versions of the game, one that includes a memory card and one that does not.
Yeah, my Twitter account is deleted, but honestly I’m not even very active on here either these days.
No idea when I’ll make more videos but hopefully I’ll be able to get at least one out this year. 👍
It’s pretty fun but it’s 100 levels to finish the game and there’s no save or password feature which means you have to play through the whole game all in one sitting. That’s my biggest complaint. 😮💨
08.03.2025 04:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Finished up Ai Senshi Nicol (愛戦士ニコル/Love Warrior Nicol) on the Famicom Disk System tonight!
If you are looking for an excellent Konami game that’s kind of like Guardian Legend meets Fester’s Quest then definitely give this one a shot.
The entire game is in English too! 👍
Seaman 「シーマン」
1999 - Dreamcast - Vivarium
A virtual pet simulator where the player must feed and take care of Seaman.
The game was originally planned to be released for the 64DD with Shigeru Miyamoto himself championing the game to Nintendo, but development later shifted to the Dreamcast.
Kuubo Senki 「空母戦記」
(Aircraft Carrier War Chronicle)
1994 - PC-9801 - General Support
The only PC-98 game I own. I’ve never seen a video game clamshell case this massive before!
I put a photo of Mega Drive and Famicom clamshells next to it so you can see just how big this absolute unit really is.
Super Shooting Watch
「スーパーシューティングウォッチ」
1992 - Hudson Soft
The Super Famicom version of Hudson’s Shooting Watch, this cool little device tracks your button pressing speed over the course of 10 seconds.
It also functions as a watch, a timer, a stopwatch, and has a little button mini-game.
The cartridge functions as a personal assistant that has features like a calculator, a phone book, a local email/pager, a calendar, and even a TV/VCR remote control.
I can’t seem to get it running on my Analogue Pocket or my Game Boys to try it out, but it’s still cool in a weird way nonetheless.
Here’s a weird one for you, the SmartCom. An unlicensed personal organizer released for the Game Boy, GB Light, and GB Color in 1999 by Karat.
I believe this was released by Datel in the West.
Hi-Saturn MMP-1-2 console by Hitachi.
Not quite as cool as the Navi, but still looks awesome and has a unique boot screen animation when you start it up.
Here’s the standalone mouse I mentioned.
20.02.2025 18:45 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Yeah, there were a lot more games in Japan that used the mouse so it got more support and bundles over there.
Really wish it had done better over here… 😢
Yeah, it was pretty obtuse and difficult, but I still played it constantly and the soundtrack is burned into my brain for the rest of my life. 😂
20.02.2025 17:32 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The Godzilla NES ost 'Earth' track is always playing in my mind as I go about my business. It has a unique, somber, thoughtful vibe that really resonates. Compile games had a huge impact on me as a kid 😁 youtu.be/Q3lsfg5es-E?...
20.02.2025 16:08 — 👍 8 🔁 1 💬 4 📌 0This track is in so many of my playlists! Such an awesome soundtrack.
I played this game so much as a kid, even though I was completely garbage at it and never quite understood what was going on half the time. 😅
Makaimura on the Famicom was a big deal in 1986 when it first released.
It would be the first game to utilize a 128KB cartridge, effectively striking a massive blow to Nintendo’s Disk System which had released just 4 months prior and touted 112KB of disk storage as one of its major selling points.
Makaimura 「魔界村」
1986 - Famicom - Capcom
Famicom Mini: Makaimura 「ファミコンミニ 魔界村」
2004 - Game Boy Advance - Nintendo
Nice! Did the sequel ever release on the PC Engine?
18.02.2025 18:16 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The new artwork they did for these games is probably some of the best in the entire series, especially the sketch drawings on the back of the manuals.
I bought these as they came out back in 1999 but they were destroyed in a flood about a decade ago, so I’ve slowly been rebuying them again. 😮💨
