Despite its fascinating atmosphere, setting, and story, besides the PSVita game, it's the worst Silent Hill mechanically IMO.
Too much focus on action ruins the experience.

An entry in the iconic series that's arguably the best yet.
With amazing visuals, smooth controls, and customizable difficulty settings, no other entry comes close to this one's brilliance.

a carbon copy of MGS3 with only improved visuals via the Unreal Engine and a choice to play with different camera and gun firing controls.
Not recommended if you know 3 by heart.
Fascinating read of one of my favorite childhood video games.
I remember @jmechner.bsky.social telling me on a Facebook exchange years ago that he never played this version. I wonder if that's changed.
