Dom Evans I posted proof that conservatives are starting to say that trans people need to be rounded up and institutionalized/studied and it's gotten FIVE reactions. That's it. I know part of it is the algorithm devaluing trans content but y'all have long been unsupportive of things I write about the mistreatment of trans people. This is part of the problem. This is the same thing the people that turned their back when the Nazis were rounding up groups did. They are coming for trans people if y'all let them.. We need you to fight with us. Now is the time to stop being silent and stop turning your head. Trans people are being threatened with being exposed by medical records and kidnapped and taken where we will be experimented on by Nazis. This is not the past. Stop burying your heads in the sand.

I think I saw a few posts about the OG X post that kicked this off, but not much else.

It does feel like #TransRights and #TransLivesMatter posts don't seem to get the traction other topics seem to.

I want to do better on that front bc it's important.

100% Since I worked in a museum I did programs, tours, and activity lessons for a wide range of ages and across the board you have to meet them where they are. And kids are in the gross and deadly wow factor stage for a good bit LOL Their reactions to dinosaur coprolites....priceless.

100% - I worked, but it could be hard. Lost my job during shutdown & thought someday I'd get back to my field, but kept putting it off bc it's public-facing. Honestly same. I feel all bumbly in social situations now. It reminds me of when my kid was a baby and I would get a rare adults only outting with kidless friends and feel like a friggin alien.

I got 99 problems but books ain't one of them ;)

Bookshop: Buy books online. Support local bookstores. An online bookstore that financially supports local independent bookstores and gives back to the book community.

When you go to bookshop.org to get a book, get distracted by other books, end up buying a buncha books, none of them the book you originally went to get, go back to get that book then feel weird just having 1 book in your check out so you get a couple more #books.
