A round Iron Age silver coin with a geometric design in the centre
It was common for Iron Age coins in Britain to reference natural elements, and they often depicted plants and animals. How a coin such as this one would have been used is debated. It may have been used for trading purposes β perhaps it was used to buy a horse itself!
