For those interested in an eReader that is not Amazon related, I bought a Kobo eReader from Rakuten a month ago. It’s fantastic! It connects to my Overdrive/Libby account. Ebooks from Overdrive can be borrowed right from device—as well as from your Libby account.
More features than my Kindle.

But, for the most part, his supporters still don’t blame him. It’s mind numbing.

Kobo connects to your Libby/Overdrive account. Ebooks are sent straight to the Kobo from your library.

Whenever my daughter sees me speaking to a stranger, she asks me, “You were telling them about Libby, weren’t you?”
